The Topps presales began May 14 at noon (Eastern) with Hobby boxes priced at $84.99 and Jumbo boxes at $179.99.

Adding 350 cards to the overall set, 2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball covers top veterans and rookies alongside subsets for Future Stars, League Leaders and Team Cards.
Aqua Foilboard (/399) joins the growing parallel lineup.

Just like the spring versions in Series 1, the Value Blasters are again the place to find Holiday parallels, this time with more of a summer feel. The exclusive themed parallels include Hot Dogs (1:21 packs), Statue of Liberty (1:56 packs), Beach Umbrella (/50), Sun (/10), Fireworks (/5) and Waves (1/1).
Covering 100 names from the base set, the Hobby-only Clear variations are capped at 10 copies.
Collectors can also count on the return of the three Series 1 variations: Golden Mirror Image Variations, True Photo Variations and Team Color Variations (1 per case).
2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball Insert Details
Turning to the inserts, 2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball adds plenty of choices. New options include 2023 First Pitch/Play Ball, Around the Horn, City to City, Covering the Field, and Fantasy Favorites.
Other first-timers include the short-printed 40/70, a Hobby-exclusive series dedicated to Ronald Acuna Jr's historic 2023 campaign.
Platinum Performers debuts as a super short print (SSP) insert.
In addition, the 1989 Topps Baseball 35th anniversary series returns with All-Star versions, and Significant Statistics again covers top performers.
Most inserts come in Blue (limited), Black (/299), Gold (/75), Red (/10) and Platinum (1/1) parallels.
As usual, Retail formats supply a few exclusives. The 30-card Stars of MLB (1 per pack) continuation insert goes for the full flagship lap, from Series 1 to Update Series. There is also a Chrome version (1:10 packs) and both sets have parallels.
Mega Boxes contain a few exclusives, as well, including 1989 Topps Baseball Foil, 1989 Topps All-Star Baseball Foil and Topps Mega Stars. All three have a mix of foil parallels numbered to 75 or less.
Of course, 2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball has a few other rarities to chase. Limited to 500 copies, Heavy Lumber returns with wood-grained style for some of the best hitters. A favorite for many, the Home Field Advantage and Legendary Home Field Advantage cards showcase current and former greats with "iconic imagery from their home field."
The Social Media Follow Back Redemption cards again give fans a shot at a follow from an MLB star.
Exclusive to Hobby/HTA Jumbo boxes, Sketch cards are also back.

Find on-card signatures in 1989 Topps Baseball Autographs and 1989 Topps All-Star Baseball Autographs.
The Baseball Stars Autographs line offers single-player, dual-player (/10 or less) and new triple-player (/5) editions.
Other debuts arrive in 2023 First Pitch/Play Ball Autographs (/99), 40/70 Autographs (/10), City to City Autographs (/99), Dynamic Dual Autographs (/10) and Signature Tunes Dual Autograph (/25).
2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball Relic & Auto Relic Details
2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball closes with memorabilia cards. 1989 Topps Baseball Relics, 1989 Topps All-Star Baseball Relics, In the Name (1/1; Hobby/HTA only) and Major League Material provide the familiar choices.
City Connect Swatch Collection debuts with game-used City Connect jersey pieces, while Rounding the Bases Relics is a new Retail-exclusive line.
Auto relics include Heavy Lumber Autograph Relics (/10) and Major League Material Autographs (/50 or less).
Only in Hobby, 2023 Silver Slugger Award Winner acts as the exclusive manufactured relic line, including parallels and autographs (/25 or less).
2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball Silver Pack Promo Details
As expected, the Silver Pack promotion returns in 2024 Topps Series 2 Baseball to offer exclusive cards in Hobby and HTA Jumbo boxes. Hobby has one bonus pack and HTA Jumbo has two packs.
The retro Chrome series offers a shot at limited parallels and autographs.
