2025-26 Flair Hockey reboots the classic 1990s Fleer NHL card brand, now under the Upper Deck banner.
On average, every Hobby box has four numbered base parallels and five inserts. Collectors should uncover four autographs per case.
This marks the first full Flair release since 2006-07 Flair Showcase Hockey. However, Flair inserts have appeared in various Upper Deck sets over the years, particularly in throwback brands such as Fleer Retro and Fleer Showcase.
2025-26 Flair Hockey Checklist Rundown
Without autographs in every box, inserts take on greater importance. The 2025-26 Flair Hockey checklist promises "re-imagined classic inserts as well as stunning new ones."
Base & Parallel Details
Of course, most of the cards come from the 2025-26 Flair Hockey base set, comprised of 150 veterans (#1-150; 2 per pack) and 50 rookies (#151-200; 1 per pack). Limited Blue Ice (/49) and Spectrum (/5) parallels are added to this lineup.
There is also a variation trio to chase via the Image B Variant (/349), Image C Variant (/199) and 1993 Variant (/93) cards. Look for Blue Ice (/25) and Spectrum (1/1) image variant parallels.
In total, there should be four numbered base cards per box.
Insert Details
Additionally, every box of 2025-26 Flair Hockey contains five inserts.
The most common sets include Flair for the Dramatic (1:13 packs), Hot Hues (1:8 packs), Rare Breed (1:32 packs), Scoring Power (1:10 packs) and Trophy Room (1:17 packs). Four cards per box come from this grouping. These five inserts also have a Spectrum (/99) parallel.
One other insert in each box appears from either Center Spotlights (1:40 packs), Flash + Flair or Wave of the Future (1:20 packs).
Contrasting styles arrive in Flash + Flair, with the Flash versions (1:40 packs) printed on acetate stock, and the Flair versions (1:250 packs) offering a Spectrum LTFX finish.
The refreshed Wave of the Future (1:20 packs) series utilizes "special textured water-like technology."
Moving to the case hits, 2025-26 Flair Hockey keeps the cards flowing. Discover the new multi-image 3-on-1 Breakaway (1:100 packs) cards, featuring a multi-layered shadowbox design.
Also new, Hot Mitts (Vets - 1:125 packs; Rookies - 1:250 packs) was inspired by the Hot Gloves inserts of the '90s. However, this debut set does not replace Hot Gloves (1:125 packs).
Thanks to a heat-sensitive ink, the Touch of Flair cards (1:100 packs) reveal a secret background image when warmed up.
There are still more rare inserts to chase:
- Artistic Flair - 1:125 packs
- Hot Numbers - 1:200 packs
- Hot Gloves - 1:125 packs
- Legion of Boom - 1:334 packs
- Time on Ice - 1:750 packs
On top of that, the Guaranteed Fresh! insert was listed with no odds or information.

Averaging four per case, 2025-26 Flair Hockey makes the autographs more limited.
