Pushing well past the end of the 2025 MLB season, 2025 Topps Chrome Platinum Baseball returns to the hobby with the 1955 flagship set as the featured design.
The product had been an annual release since 2021, until the 2024 edition was skipped. Although the '24 release was omitted, Topps still followed the chronological timeline from 2023's homage to the 1954 design.

2025 Topps Chrome Platinum Baseball is centered on the classic dual-image 1955 Topps Baseball design, which is further enhanced with chromium stock and Refractor parallels.
While there's not much information out yet, Topps teased a live image of a hard-signed City Variation Autographs card of Aaron Judge. This SuperFractor edition displays the NYC skyline instead of the standard background. Although the 2023 product also included City Variations, these are the first signed options.
