2024 Topps Chrome Boxing hits the ring for the first time, promising a "dazzling debut featuring a wide collection of boxers from yesterday, today, and tomorrow."
Topps.com presales arrived on August 11 for $89.99 per Hobby box. Each Hobby box contains two autographs.
Per Topps, this is "the first boxing release in history to be officially licensed by multiple boxing promotions." The lineup includes top names from Golden Boy Promotions, Matchroom, Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Top Rank.
While this is the earliest boxing release under the Chrome brand, collectors have a few prior Topps Boxing releases, such as the iconic 1951 Topps Ringside set and some print-to-order Topps Now cards. Boxers have also been featured in Allen & Ginter Baseball and Triple Threads Baseball.
This adds to Topps' combat lineup that already includes Topps UFC and Topps WWE cards.
2024 Topps Chrome Boxing Checklist Rundown
Boasting "several first-time signers," the 2024 Topps Chrome Boxing checklist unloads with a deep roster of the sport's top names across multiple promotions.
Expected signers include Diego Pacheco, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Mike Tyson, Ryan Garcia and Tyson Fury.
