The 2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey checklist packs in a lot, including a batch of the famed Young Guns alongside various insert debuts.
Upper Deck also revealed the flagship blueprint for continuation sets among the annual trio: 2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey, 2025-26 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey and 2025-26 Upper Deck Extended Series Hockey.
2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey Base & Parallel Details
As usual, 2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey opens with a 200-card base set comprised of veterans.
Parallels mirror recent years, offering long-time staples UD Exclusives (/100) and High Gloss (/10) with Outburst versions and the Hobby-exclusive Clear Cut acetate cards.

2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey Young Guns & Parallel Details
The final 50 cards in the 2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey base numbering are Young Guns (#201-250).
Something of an anomaly in the hobby, the Young Guns rookies (1:2 packs) remain a favorite without the need for a low print run or accompanying element, such as an autograph or relic.
Per UD, this lineup includes 13 first-round picks, with five of these names selected in the top 10. Overall, there are 23 players taken in the first or second round.
Fans can expect the same parallel lineup as the base set.

2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey Insert Details
Of course, inserts fill out the rest of the 2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey checklist with a mix of new and old lines.
The debuting Bootleg (1:1,440 packs) super short print (SSP) boasts foil with a soft touch and gloss coating. Look for 18 star names and 18 different designs.
Other debuts include Bustle (1:8 packs), for those always striving for more, plus Compadres (1:10 packs), featuring teammates, Compositions (1:5 packs), displaying a dual image, and Cup Quest (1:10 packs), covering stars seeking a title.
That's not all, as Goal Oriented (1:8 packs) highlights elite goal scorers, and Sizzle Reel (1:5 packs) revisits 35 top moments from the 2024-25 season with a QR code that brings up the video in question. Dedicated to goalies, Tracking Systems (1:5 packs) puts the netminders in the crosshairs.
Each insert noted above adds Speckle, Red (/199), Gold (/25) and Printing Plate (1/1) versions.
Although not quite new, Encore (1:3 packs) is rebooted in Series 1 with 100 cards utilizing LTFX tech with Blue (1:36 packs) and Gold (/50) parallels. Every team has at least two players in the set.
2025-26 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey provides many returning inserts, as well. Dazzlers is back with a new Gold edition (1:2,880 packs) that joins Green (1:4 packs; Select Blaster & Starter Kit exclusive), Blue (1:12 packs) and Pink (1:144 packs).
A "living set" insert, the 30-card Holotypes (1:504 packs) set only offers each player one time. These are Series 1 exclusives.
Resembling a graded card, the acetate Population Count again comes in 1,000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 10 and 1 versions.
Another fixture, fans have a fresh round of UD Canvas (1:4 packs) and UD Canvas Young Guns (1:24 packs) to look forward to in '25-26, adding Black & White parallels and Printing Plates for the full lineup.
Closing things out, UD Portraits (1:5 packs) is back with a new design. Collect the Speckle (1:40 packs), Red (/199), Gold (/25) and Printing Plate (1/1) parallels.
