Hobby boxes keep the same three-pack format as last year. On average, every box yields four parallels and six inserts, with at least one numbered card.

Sticking to tradition, the 2026-27 SPx Hockey checklist relies on shiny tech to enhance the selection of stars, rookies and greats of the game. Autographs are possible, but aren't guaranteed to appear in every box.

Base & Parallel Details
The Base (#1-100; 1 per pack) and Base Rookies (#101-150; 1:2 packs) cards fill in the main set for 2026-27 SPx Hockey. Every box should have four base rookies, plus three Bronze and one Teal parallel.
Many of the parallels are new choices in SPx, like Purple Spectrum (1/1) and more.

Insert Details
As always, the inserts are a big part of 2026-27 SPx Hockey. The common lines combine to average four per box, including the all-new Captain’s Focus (1:10 packs), dedicated to team leaders, and Tendy’s Veil (1:14 packs), featuring top goalies.
Collect acetate cards with Holoview F/X Rookies (1:10 packs), Holoview F/X Vets (1:8 packs) and SPx Game Film (1:10 packs).
Limited parallels of the common inserts include Blue (/399 or less), Gold (/99 or /50) and Spectrum (/25 or /10).
In addition, the SPx Finite (/999) inserts fall twice per box, covering rookies and veterans. These serial-numbered cards have even more parallels than the base set.
