2026-27 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey unveils the next round of Young Guns, plus various brand staples collectors have come to expect.
Rookies, parallels and inserts dominate the product, which is typically very light on traditional hits such as autographs and relics.
The NHL's flagship set largely matches previous seasons, offering carryovers alongside several new inserts.

As always, Young Guns rookies are the focal point of 2026-27 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey.
There are still many other things to check out as Upper Deck packs a lot of inserts into the flagship brand. Some of these are intra-series sets that appear across Series 1, Series 2 and Extended Series.
Base & Young Guns Details
Most of the 2026-27 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey checklist follows the standard flagship approach.
This includes a 200-card base set featuring NHL veterans, each with multiple parallels.

Insert Details
The 2026-27 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey inserts provide the remaining content and all the new choices.
Among the common pulls, debuting lines include Fan Faves (1:5 packs), Repping (1:5 packs) and Vibe Check (1:5 packs).
The new foil options include Debut Dates (1:8 packs), which commemorates a player's first NHL appearance, including the exact date and opponent.
Here We Go! (1:8 packs) highlights the action in the face-off circle from overhead.
These five sets can also be found as short-printed Speckle parallels.
2026-27 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey also adds Stencils (1:3 packs), an artistic series that replaces the standard ink design with "a stencil-generated shoulder-up player image, the player’s last name and the Upper Deck logo."
This 100-card set features at least two players per team, and there are multiple parallels:

Geared to the game's elite, the new super short print (SSP) chase also skews to the artistic side. Electric Soul (1:2,880 packs) showcases "one-color player image on a team-color background."
Youthful Spirits (1:2,880 packs) displays original artwork made specifically for this product by Presten Warren.
In addition, 2026-27 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey is home to a selection of returning inserts. Look for familiar lines in Dazzlers, Population Count, Sizzle Reel (1:5 packs) and UD Portraits (1:5 packs).
Of course, the brand-favorite UD Canvas (1:4 packs) and UD Canvas Young Guns (1:24 packs) cards are back.
Averaging just 1:3.5 cases, Holotypes (1:504 packs) extends the "living set" with 30 new cards (#HT-61 - HT-90).
Even tougher, Bootleg (1:2,880 packs) follows up on the 2025-26 debut with another batch of unique cards. This SSP has 18 cards, each with a different design.
Autograph Details
Those hoping for autographs won't find much in 2026-27 Upper Deck Series 1 Hockey.
The lone option is the super-short-printed Base Snow Spray Auto Variation (1:4,000 packs), which applies a wintry finish to select names.
