Part of the well-known Absolute Memorabilia series, 2026 Panini Absolute Football is back for another season, minus NFL licensing. The new approach relies on retired pros and current NIL college athletes.
Hobby boxes contain three autographs and one relic, on average. This is similar to the recent NFL-licensed edition, but with one fewer relic per box.
There's also the holiday-themed 2026 Panini Absolute Countdown Calendar Football format.

2026 Panini Absolute Football Checklist Rundown
While you won't see NFL team or league logos, 2026 Panini Absolute Football is still packed with talent.
Base & Insert Details
The base set totals 200 cards, and Hobby boxes average three parallels.
Averaging three per Hobby box, inserts include By Storm and more. The super short print (SSP) chase features favorites like Kaboom. Although Solar Eclipse has been around for a few years in Select and Spectra, this is the first appearance in Absolute. Both of the SSP lines note these as "vertical" versions, suggesting there should be horizontal editions as well.
Autograph & Relic Details
Similarly, the 2026 Panini Absolute Football checklist supplies fans with and autographs and relics of past NFL stars and active college players.
Absolute Marks, Iconic Ink and Spectrum Signatures offer autographed content.
Among the relics, Tools of the Trade is a hobby legend that first appeared as a memorabilia line in the early 2000s. Prospect Premiere Materials is a new offshoot of the prior Rookie Premiere Materials set.
