Offering relics and autographs, 2024 Topps GPK Battle of the Bands Green Day covers the popular punk rock group with a Garbage Pail Kids-themed product. Each box has two serial-numbered cards.
The Green Day X GPK collaboration was initially announced in April at the 2024 Topps Industry Conference. Despite arriving well into 2025, and the copyright date on the cards being 2025, Topps still listed it as a 2024 set.
Presales came on August 5, 2025, for $79.99 per Mega box. The price increased to $89.99 on release day.
While this is a niche GPK edition, the long-running Garbage Pail Kids brand also offers other themed sets most years, including the 2025 Topps Worst of Garbage Pail Kids 40th Anniversary set.
This is also not the first music-based release from GPK, as 2017 Topps Garbage Pail Kids Battle of the Bands paved the way.

The bulk of the release for 2024 Topps GPK Battle of the Bands Green Day comes in the base set. This includes 50 different images, each with an A-name and B-name version, for a total of 100 stickers.

The most limited sets include American Idiots, the only inserts without a GPK image style, and Standing Room Only, mimicking the look of a ticket stub.

Look for Autographs, American Idiot Triple Autographs (/5) and Triple Autographs (/25).
Authentic memorabilia pieces appear in Tour Relics, Autographed Tour Relics and Autographed Triple Tour Relics.
The stage-used items come from The Saviors Tour (2023-24) and include drumheads, drumsticks, guitar picks and guitar strings.
