First announced in 2023, the 2026 Cryptozoic What We Do in the Shadows Seasons 1 & 2 release has taken a long time to reach trading card collectors. The product covers the first two seasons of the mockumentary dedicated to a group of quirky vampires living on Staten Island.
Hobby boxes average two premium hits, which can be autographs, relics or sketch cards. Boxes come in a glow-in-the-dark finish.
Fans got an early look thanks to the 2026 SDCC Convention Preview boxes ($99.99), with one encased autograph and one encased relic per box.

The 2026 Cryptozoic What We Do in the Shadows Seasons 1 & 2 checklist is led by the stars of the FX series, including Harvey Guillén (as Guillermo de la Cruz), Kayvan Novak (as Nandor the Relentless), Mark Proksch (as Colin Robinson), Matt Berry (as Leslie "Laszlo" Cravensworth) and Natasia Demetriou (as Nadja of Antipaxos).
Base & Insert Details
Look for 72 cards in the base set, which feature screen moments from the first two seasons.
In addition, 2026 Cryptozoic What We Do in the Shadows Seasons 1 & 2 offers a few inserts. Totaling nine cards, The Vampiric Council revisits "The Trial," the cameo-filled seventh episode of the first season.
Key characters and their interactions are on display in Friends, Feuds, and Familiars (9 cards).
Another choice is Artwork (9 cards), celebrating paintings from the show or capturing flashbacks of the main characters.
The base cards and inserts also offer limited parallels in 2026 Cryptozoic What We Do in the Shadows Seasons 1 & 2, such as Silver Foil with Green Numbering (/49; 1:25 packs), Silver Foil with Purple Numbering (/10; 1:130 packs) and Printing Plates (1/1).
One final option is available in the Glow-in-the-Dark Fangs Puzzle set. These nine cards combine to form a larger image. There are no parallels of this line.
Autograph, Relic & Sketch Details
Premium hits add more excitement to 2026 Cryptozoic What We Do in the Shadows Seasons 1 & 2. Per Cryptozoic, "The average number of premium hits per box is now over 2.5."
This includes on-card Autographs (1:32 packs) of the cast and guest stars, plus hand-drawn Sketch Cards (1:24 packs).
Although not part of the original reveal, memorabilia adds another layer to the hits. Look for show-used relics in Vampiric Fashions Authentic Wardrobe (1:48 packs).
For some, the key relic chase might be the one-of-one Script Memorabilia Cards (1:92 packs), with cuts of production-used scripts.
SDCC Convention Preview Details
Despite the very long wait for Hobby boxes of 2026 Cryptozoic What We Do in the Shadows Seasons 1 & 2, there's some light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the SDCC Convention Preview. Total production was 300 boxes.
Each 11-card box originally sold for $99.99 at San Diego Comic-Con. This includes a nine-card Base Oversized set, numbered to 299, with a one-of-one Black Foil Brilliance edition as the only parallel.
Falling once per box, all Autographs come encased, including Harvey Guillén as Guillermo (/130), Kayvan Novak as Nandor (/130) or a dual version (/55).
Likewise, the relic card in every box is encased. The sole Vampiric Fashions Authentic Wardrobe card is of Nandor (/300), containing a piece of fabric from Season 5.
